Celebrating 30 years at The O

Kaleidoscope provides a safe space for people of color and/or LGBTQIA. In this RLC, students attend events and programs geared towards helping them navigate Tulane with an encouraging and understanding network behind them and along with them to connect while embracing their intersectional identities.

Every Wednesday, The O offers up free food, fellowship, and fun. Food is a powerful tool to bring people together and to make people feel comfortable. We hope to give every Tulanian a taste of New Orleans by providing food from local cafes.

At the O, we have several ways for you to find your community. One of the ways that you can find their community is through joining one of our student organizations under the Multicultural Council or the Gender and Sexuality Advisory Council. These student organizations all do incredible work on campus to create a more welcoming and vibrant Tulane community.

The purpose of the "O" Ambassadors program is to help students understand the benefits of integrating academic excellence, professional development, and intercultural competence in their lives. They serve as the blueprint for thriving in an inclusive environment on the Tulane campus.

The Annual Multicultural Leadership Retreat is an opportunity to learn more about your social identities, connect with other students, develop leadership skills, and make a positive change at Tulane.

The Mosaic Lounge is located on the ground floor of Warren House, beside SoHo (Weatherhead), behind Butler, and is a designated safe space for LGBTQ+ students. inside the Mosaic Lounge you will find safe sex supplies, Internet access, a TV, DVD player, movies, games, books, information, and much more.
